What Is It?
At its core, Sale Types were originally designed to meet a UK requirement to be able to apply a different VAT Tax rate to an Order/Sale when Dining In/Eating In as opposed to when the Order/Sale is for a Take Away.
Why Is It Needed?
To allow POS Clerks/Staff to be able to attribute a different VAT Tax rate to an Order/Sale in Touch. For example, in the case of Take Aways, a VAT Zero tax rate may apply.
Available In?

Where Is It Used?

What are the Limitations?
- The Sale Type selected that is associated with the Sale Type (#960) POS Key selected, will only apply to the current Order/Sale. It will need to be reselected each time a new Order/Sale is commenced and there is a requirement to select a Sale Type.
This completes the SALE TYPES feature for Back Office and Touch.
