When there is a requirement for Cash Drawers to be assigned to Clerk/Staff in Touch.
What Is Required?
- Clerk/Staff will need to exist in Back Office and be configured with the appropriate authorisation to ensure they are able to login to operate Touch.
- Ensure the Prompt for Cash Drawer Assignment option is selected and configured as required in Clerk Settings.
Prompt For Cash Drawer Assignment?
Once the What Is Required? above has been completed, then when Clerks/Staff login in Touch, they will be prompted to select the Cash Drawer to which they have been assigned. The prompts displayed will depend on whether the Single Clerk per Cash Drawer option is select or not.
