    • Ensure a Layout is created in Keyboard Designer. Give the Layout an appropriate name. For example, Fast Clerks.
    • Add Fast Clerk (#111) POS Keys to the Layout. One for each Clerk/Staff Member that will be operating Touch within a given shift. With maybe a couple to spare, just in case extra staff join the shift. Ensure each is given an appropriate Caption. For example, n.a. (not assigned). Refer HERE for more information.
    • Add a Clerk Log Off (#112) POS Key to the same Layout. Refer HERE for more information.
    • Ensure the same Layout is set as the Home Layout. Refer HERE for more information.
    • Ensure a Full Update is sent to all the Touch terminals that will be using the POS Key. Refer HERE for more information.
    • Ensure the Fast Clerk Keyboard option is selected against the Entry Type setting in Clerk Settings. This will ensure the Fast Clerk Keyboard is displayed whenever a login by Clerks/Staff is required.

    Notes ...

If NO Fast Clerk (#111) POS Keys are found on the HOME Layout in Touch when the Fast Clerk Keyboard option is selected, then a prompt will be displayed, and this option will NOT be able to be selected. Refer HERE for more information.
