This outlines the How To Apply A Member's Classification Discount using the Charge / Redemption (#151) POS Key in Touch.

What To Consider? ▲ ▼
- The total value of the order/sale has to be charged or redeemed to one of the Member's accounts.
- The discount will NOT be available if the Member does NOT have enough credit available in their account for the non-discounted total to be charged/redeemed.
- The discount will NOT be applied if there is another Media in the order/sale.
- If the Discount Media is not configured correctly, that is, it is NOT active in the Location.

How To Apply A Member's Classification Discount? ▲ ▼
Do as follows:
- Add a Member to the sales grid.
- Add items/products to the sales grid.
- Select the Charge/Redemption (#151) POS Key to display the Live Charge screen.
- A Disc column will be displayed if a Member's Classification Discount can be applied to the order/sale.
- Select the Use option opposite the account that has the Member's Classification Discount displayed.
- Select OK to charge/redeem the value of the order/sale against the selected account.
How To GET STARTED? ▲ ▼
In Back Office
- Configure the discount against the appropriate Member Classifications. To do this do as follows:
- Navigate to the Member Classification screen.
- Enter a discount as a percentage value in the Discount % column against the appropriate Classifications.

- Select the cell in the Discount Media column opposite the appropriate Classification to open the Search Media screen and select the Media to be used when the Discount % is applied.
- Configure the Charge/Redemption (#151) POS Key. To do this do as follows:
- Navigate to the Keyboards screen.
- Locate and open the Layouts that contain an occurrence of the Charge/Redemption (#151) POS Key.
- For each occurrence select the Charge/Redemption (#151) POS Key and select the More Settings option.
- Ensure the Allow Classification Discount option is selected.
- Once configured, ensure a Full Update is sent to all the Touch terminals that will be using the Charge/Redemption (#151) POS Key. Refer HERE for more information.
