How To Open A New Table?     ▲ ▼

A new Table can be opened in Touch in either in Table First Mode or Table Last Mode. To open a new Table in First Mode, do as follows:

• In this scenario, it is recommended to configure a Table (#30) POS Key (captioned New Table) specifically for opening new Tables.
• In Touch, enter the number of the new Table that is to be opened. For example, enter 3.
• Select the New Table POS Key.
• The Table counter will be incremented by 1.
• If the Prompt for Table Info option selected, the Table Information screen will be displayed. if so, enter the details for the Table and select Save.
  • Table #3 will appear in the sales grid.
• Add items/products to the order.
• Save the Table.

An existing Table is opened in Touch to take another order. An existing Table can be opened in Touch in either Table First Mode or Table Last Mode. To open an existing Table in First Mode, do as follows:

• In this scenario, it is recommended to configure a Table (#30) POS Key (captioned Open Table) specifically for opening existing Tables.
• In Touch
  • Enter the number of the Table that is to be opened. For example, enter 3.
  • Select the Open Table POS Key.

  • Select the Open Table POS Key to open the Open Tables for All Clerks screen.
  • Select the Table to be opened from the list of Tables displayed.
• The Table's items/products will be listed in the sales grid.
• Add more items/products to the order.
• Save the Table.
