Configure For Event Service Mode
This outlines How To Configure For Event Service Mode in TouchMini v1 and v2.

When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
Used when TouchMini devices are to be used in support of one or more Events a Venue is holding.
What Are The Benefits? ▲ ▼
The benefits to Venues using this feature is TouchMini devices can be assigned to an Event Session.
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- swiftpos V10.45+
- swiftpos TouchMini App Version T.b.a.
- Venues will need to be registered for the Events module for access to this feature.
- Events, Event Sessions, Areas, etc will need to be configured to ensure TouchMini devices are able to be used in conjunction with an Event. Refer to Events > Getting Started for more information.
- TouchMini devices must be configured and available for use. Refer to TouchMini v1 > Getting Started and TouchMini v2 > Getting Started for more information.
- In order, to be able to lock a TouchMini device to an Area (Suite), the device must be enabled to ensure it is listed in the Terminal Records screen. Refer to How To Enable A Device for more information.

Do as follows:
- Navigate to the Device's Service tab in the TouchMini menu. Refer to Access The Configuration Tabs for more information.
- Ensure the Event are service option is selected in the What service are you offering drop down list.
- Navigate to the Device's POS tab and confirm the Device has a value displayed opposite the Terminal ID setting. If not, ensure the device is enabled. Refer to How To Enable A Device for more information.

Do as follows:
- Lock the TouchMini device to an Area (Suite) or Event Session. Refer to How To Lock A TouchMini Device To An Area for more information.
- Ensure the TouchMini device is assigned to the same Location as the Area (Suite) or Event Session. Refer to TouchMini v1 > How To Transfer Devices Between Locations or TouchMini v2 > How To Transfer Devices Between Locations for more information.
