This outlines How To Use Table Service in TouchMini v2.

    When Is It Used?      

    Used when a TouchMini device is to be used in a Location of a Venue that has Table service.

     


    What Are The Benefits?      

    Allows Staff to quickly identify Tables that are available and/or seated in the Location, as well as selecting a table to take an Order/Sale.

     


    What Is Required?      

    • swiftpos v10.74.9+

     


    What Are The Limitations?     

    • This feature does not recognise the splitting of a Table bill that has been done in Touch. It will not provide any information in regard to how a Table bill was split in Touch. That is, what items have been paid for and what items are still owing. It will however, return the remaining balance once a Table bill has been split in Touch.

     


    How To Configure For Table Service?     

    To enable this feature, do as follows:

     


    How To Use Table Service?     

    Do as follows:

    • Select the Table icon at the top of the screen.
    • Once selected, a Tables screen will be displayed. Refer HERE for more information.

    • Select either:
      • A seated Table (any one of the Tables depicted in orange) to add Items to an existing Table Order.
      • Or an available Table (any one of the Tables depicted in grey) to take a Table Order for the first time and flag the Table as seated.
    • Once selected the Home menu will be displayed to facilitate the taking of the Table Order.
    • The Table currently selected will be depicted in green and the Table number will appear to the left of the Table icon at the top of the Tables screen.
