Access The TouchMini Menu

This outlines How To Access More Options Via The Menu Icon in TouchMini v2. It is used to toggle between Dark/Light theme, view Transactions, do a Product search, access the Tools menu, view Device Information and access the Ordering Options.

How To Access The TouchMini Menu?      

Do as follows:

  • Once the Device has been registered, the Home menu should be automatically displayed. Refer to How To Register A Device for more information.
  • Select the Menu icon in the top left hand corner of the screen.
  • Once selected the following menu options will be available:

 


 

 


How To View Transactions?      

Do as follows:

  • Select the Menu icon in the top left hand corner of the screen. Refer to Access The TouchMini Menu for more information.
  • Select the Transaction menu option to open the Transaction screen to view the most recent to least recent transactions. Both pending and/or processed transactions will be displayed.

  • Use the Showing transactions from filter at the top of the screen to select either:
    • Last 7 days
    • Last 14 days
  • Use the Actions buttons opposite each transaction listed to either View, Resend Pending Transactions, Refund and/or Remove transactions.
  • Select the Settings icon in the bottom left-hand corner to Clear Pending, Clear Processed and/or Resend All transactions.

 


 


How To Do A Product Search?      

Do as follows:

  • Select the Menu icon in the top left hand corner of the screen. Refer to Access The TouchMini Menu for more information.
  • Select the Product Search menu option to open the Product Search screen.
  • Enter in the search field provided, the search criteria to initiate the search.

 


 


How To Access The Tools Menu?      

Do as follows:

 


 

 


Language      

This menu option is used to set the default language for the TouchMini device. Select from the drop down list one of the available languages listed.

 


 


Transfer      

This menu option is used to transfer the TouchMini device to a new location. Select from the drop down list one of the available locations listed. Refer to How To Transfer Devices between Locations for more information.

 


 


Export Device      

This menu option is used to export device data for the purpose of assisting support consultants with troubleshooting potential issues. Generally, this is only used when requested by a support consultant.

 


Error Logs      

This menu option is used to display error logging information.

 


 


Reset Device      

This menu option is used to reset the device. Once resetting has been confirmed the device will be re-registered. That means, it will be allocated a unique Device ID and once enabled will be associated with a new Terminal in swiftpos Back Office. Refer to How To Register A Device for more information. Refer to How To Reset A Device for more information.

 


 

Once enabled and configured in Venue Manager, the home menu will be displayed automatically. Refer to How To Configure A Device for more information.

 


How To View Device Information?      

Information that can be viewed is Status, Cloud Client, Device, Device ID, Location, Terminal ID, Menu Layout ID and App Version. To do this, do as follows:

  • Select the Menu icon in the top left hand corner of the screen.
  • Select the Device Information menu option to expand and display the information related to the device. Once selected the device information similar to that shown in the screen below will be displayed.

 


 

  • Select the Device Information menu option again to collapse it.

 

The information provided maybe of relevance and requested by a support consultant when querying an issue.

 


How To Access The Ordering Options Menu?      

 

IMPORTANT


This option is currently DISABLED. The ability to change Ordering options from a device will be made available soon.Currently updating the Ordering options can only be done in Venue Manager HERE.

 

Do as follows:

 


 

  • Select the Ordering Options menu option again to collapse the menu.

 


Service Mode      

 


 

  • Service Mode - Select from the drop down list, one of the following service options:
    • Quick - Select to set the device to Quick service mode. This is the most commonly used mode.
    • Event - Select to set the device to Event service mode. To be continued ...

 

Refund Mode      

Select to enable. If a Clerk/Staff Member is NOT currently signed in, or they do not have appropriate authorisation to perform Refunds, then a Clerk Sign-In prompt will be displayed to ensure the entry of the ID of a Clerk/Staff Member that does have the appropriate authority. Refer to How To Refund An Order/Sale for more information.
