How To Configure A Device?      

To do this:

  • Access the devices' configuration tabs. Refer to HERE for more information.
  • Ensure the device to be configured is enabled.
  • Select the name of a device that has been enabled. The device's Configuration Tabs will be displayed.
  • Select the appropriate device type from the Default Device Type drop down list.
  • Clone the setting from the Default Configuration. Refer to HERE for more information.
    • Once cloned, select each one of the Configuration Tabs (POS, Appearance, Clerk, etc) and confirm each is appropriately configured. for its intended use in the Venue.

 


How To Configure For Receipt Printing?      

By default, receipt printing in TouchMini makes use of the following:

However, Venues may wish to make use of the following instead:

  • A Customised Receipt - To make use of this option. ensure the Customise receipt header/footer option is selected in the Receipt tab to display the settings available to Venues to customise. Venues can then configure the available settings as is appropriate. Refer HERE for more information.

 

IMPORTANT


Also, the Address and ABN details are sourced as follows: Initially from the Custom Receipt Header/Footer details (HERE), if the option has been selected. Then from the Location Contact Info, if NOT blank. Lastly, from the Registration.

What To Consider?      

  • Once configured DO NOT forget to select the SAVE option to ensure all changes are saved.

 


When Is It Used?      

Similar to configuring a Default Configuration, this option is aimed at configuring an individual device. Making use of a Default Configuration is recommended, as opposed to individually configuring each individual TouchMini device. It would generally apply to Venues that have just a couple of TouchMini devices, or for a device that requires a specific configuration.
