This outlines How To Configure A Device in TouchMini.
Similar to configuring a Default Configuration, this option is aimed at configuring an individual device. Making use of a Default Configuration is recommended, as opposed to individually configuring each individual TouchMini device. It would generally apply to Venues that have just a couple of TouchMini devices, or for a device that requires a specific configuration.

- There are 2 options available when considering the configuration of a TouchMini device. These are:
- First configure a Default Configuration and then using it, clone it to multiple devices. This is the recommended option.
- Configure A Device manually.
- Once configured DO NOT forget to select the SAVE button to ensure all changes are saved.
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- The device must be registered and enabled in order for it to be configured.
How To Configure A Device? ▲ ▼
To do this:
- Access the devices' configuration tabs. Refer to How To Access The Configuration Tabs for more information.
- Ensure the device to be configured is enabled.
- Select the name of a device that has been enabled. The device's configuration tabs will be displayed.
- Select the appropriate device type from the Default Device Type drop down list.
- Clone the setting from the Default Configuration. Refer to How To Clone A Device for more information.
- Once cloned, select each one of the configuration tabs (POS, Appearance, Clerk, etc) and confirm each is appropriately configured. for its intended use in the Venue. Refer to Device Configuration Tabs for more information.

- Select each one of the configuration tabs (POS, Appearance, Clerk, etc) and configure each to ensure the device is appropriately configured for its intended use in the Venue. Refer to Device Configuration Tabs for more information.
- DO NOT forget to select the SAVE button to ensure all changes are saved.
How To Configure For Receipt Printing? ▲ ▼
By default, Receipt printing in TouchMini makes use of the following:
- A Touch Generated Receipt - This is the recommended option. It basically retrieves the receipt generated by the Touch Master Order Terminal and makes it available to the TouchMini device. It DOES require the Submit orders directly to POS terminal option to be selected when the Location is activated. Refer to How To Activate A swiftpos Location for more information.
However, Venues may wish to make use of the following instead:
- A Customised Receipt - To make use of this option. ensure the Customise receipt header/footer option is selected in the Receipt tab to display the settings available to Venues to customise. Venues can then configure the available settings as is appropriate. Refer HERE for more information.

Also, the Address and ABN details are sourced as follows:Initially from the Custom Receipt Header/Footer details (in Venue Manager), if the option has been selected.Then from the Location Contact Info, if NOT blank.Lastly, from the Registration.
