About

What Is It?

This POS Key is used to charge the partial/full amount of an order/sale in Touch, to a patron's account. Refer to HERE for more information.

What Is Required?

  • Ensure this POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Designer. Refer HERE for more information.
  • Ensure, where appropriate, the PP Exclusions, PP Discount Exclusions, PP Discount % and the PP Discount Media settings are configured against Classifications where necessary.
  • Ensure it is configured as required. Refer to HERE for more information.

What To Consider?

  • If required, access to this POS Key can be restricted by the Clerk Security feature.
  • For NetPOS 3rd Part Integrations that allow for multiple points accounts, only the first account listed in the Interface Settings tab of the NetPOS interface with the Can Redeem (for example, the MG Interface) option selected will be considered a Points Pay account and will be used with the Points Pay feature. In other words, the use of more than one Points account is NOT SUPPORTED.
  • Items/products in an order/ sale that have had a Discount, Mix & Match, Campaign or Combo applied CANNOT be paid using the Points Pay feature. These will be depicted as - Excluded - items within the Points Pay > Select and Add Items (Points Pay) screen.
  • Points are only redeemed when the sale is finalised in full.

Notes ...

It is recommended NOT to make use of the Points Pay feature when a sale has been held or saved to a Table/TAB.
