About

Terms & Concepts?

  • Buyer TIN
This refers to the official identification of the buyer, as registered in the official business registry of each country.
The use of Buyer TIN is prescribed by local tax legislation. When it is mandatory, it must be printed on the fiscal invoice.
The Buyer TIN uniquely identifies the buyer of the products or services that are listed on the invoice.
When issuing a B2B fiscal invoice for exported goods or services, where goods or services are sold to a buyer from a foreign country, the cashier must enter a Buyer TIN which starts with an official country code prefix.

  • Buyer Cost Centre
Buyer Cost Centre is the identification of the purpose for which the invoice was issued.
The use of Buyer Cost Centre is prescribed by local tax legislation.
Buyer Cost Centre is optional in Swiftpos Touch. It can be entered at the same time as the Buyer TIN if required.
Buyer Cost Centre is also optional when a Buyer TIN has been entered.

  • The customer requires their TIN printed or recorded on the fiscal receipt.
  • A Buyer Cost Centre is required for the sale.
  • The transaction is a B2B fiscal invoice.
