When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
Used when Table items/products that have not been assigned to a seat, need to be assigned to a seat in order to split a Table bill.

To do this in Touch, do as follows:
- Select the Split Table Bill (#35) POS Key.
- Select the Table to be split from the Tables listed in the Open Tables for All Clerks screen.
- The Split Bill screen will be displayed.
- Select the items/products to be split by either:
- Selecting individual items/products that are listed in either the No Seat Assigned panel or in any one of the seats listed in the Seat panel.
- Selecting all items/products listed by selecting the header of either the No Seat Assigned panel or of anyone of the seats listed in the Seat panel.
- Once the selected items/products have been selected they will be highlighted.
- Now select the Item Split option in the footer section of the screen
- A numeric keypad will be displayed.
- Enter the number of patrons the total value of the selected items/product are to be split across.
- The selected items/products will be moved into the Seat panel section of the screen and split evenly in value across seats, equal in number to the number of patrons entered above.
- To pay for each of the split bills, select the header section of one of the seats that contains the split items/products (by value), and select OK.
- The items/products will be displayed in the sales grid.
- Accept payment from the patron and complete the split bill.
- On completion, and:
- If the Return to Split Bill screen option is SELECTED, the Split Bill screen will be displayed again to take payments for the remaining split bills (seats).
- If the Return to Split Bill screen option is NOT SELECTED, then the Split Table Bill (#35) POS Key will need to be selected again to display the Table's Split Bill screen again, to take payments for the remaining split bills (seats).
