This outlines How To  Open An Existing / New Bistro Table in Touch using the Table (#30) POS Key configured for a Bistro Table.

How To Open A New Bistro Table?     

A new Bistro Table can be opened in Touch in either in Bistro Table First Mode or Bistro Table Last Mode. To open a new Bistro Table in First Mode, do as follows:

  • In this scenario, it is recommended to configureTable (#30) POS Key (captioned New Bistro Table) specifically for creating new Bistro Tables.
  • In Touch, enter the number of the new Bistro Table that is to be opened. For example, enter 3.
  • Select the New Bistro Table POS Key..
  • The Bistro Table counter will be incremented by 1.
  • If the Prompt for Order Name option is selected, a prompt to enter the seat name will be displayed. Enter the name of the patron and then select Done.
  • Add items/products to the Bistro Table
  • Complete the order.
  • A prompt will be displayed requesting confirmation whether this is the last order. If Yes is selected the Bistro Table will be closed and the Bistro Table counter will be decremented by 1. If No is selected, then the Bistro Table will remain open enabling another order to be taken.

 

How To Open An Existing Bistro Table?     

An existing Bistro Table is opened in Touch to take another order. An existing Bistro Table can be opened in Touch in either Bistro Table First Mode or Bistro Table Last Mode. To open an existing Bistro Table in First Mode, do as follows:

  • In this scenario, it is recommended to configureTable (#30) POS Key (captioned Open Bistro Table) specifically for opening an existing Bistro Tables.
  • In Touch, enter the number of the Bistro Table that is currently in use. For example, enter 3.
  • Select the Open Bistro Table POS Key.
  • If the Prompt for Order Name option is selected, a prompt to enter the seat name will be displayed. Enter the name of the patron and then select Done.
  • Add items/products to the Bistro Table
  • Complete the order.
  • A prompt will be displayed requesting confirmation whether this is the last order. If Yes is selected the Bistro Table will be closed and the Bistro Table counter will be decremented by 1. If No is selected, then the Bistro Table will remain open enabling another order to be taken for the Table.
