To configure Swiftpos for prompting donations, do as follows:
In Back Office:
- Navigate to the Location Group Edit screen and select the Donations option to open the Donations screen.
- Ensure the Donation Prompt Enabled option is selected.
- Select the select option opposite the Donation PLU and locate and select the PLU to be assigned to donations.
- Select from the Rounding drop-down list the rounding value to be applied when calculating the value of the donation to be prompted.
- Enter a prompt in the Message field that Clerks/Staff and patrons will see when prompted for a donation.
- If a Customer Facing Display is in use and donation prompting is required to display on it, then ensure the Display on CFD option is enabled.
In Touch:
- Ensure the Enable Gift Aid Terminal option is selected in the Gift Aid tab of the Terminal menu option.

Configure a Gift Aid Declaration in the Gift Aid tab of the Receipt Header/Footer.
