Donations Screen      ▲ ▼

To access, select the Donations option in the Location Group Edit screen.

• Donation Prompt Enabled - Select to enable donation prompting.
• Donation PLU - Displays/Select to open the Search Products screen to locate and select the PLU to be applied to donations.
• Rounding - Select from the drop-down list one of the rounding options available. For example, if set to the nearest $5 option, then the total value of a sale will be rounded up to the nearest $5 and the difference will be the value prompted for a donation. If a sale totalled $17.50, then it will be rounded up to $20.00 and the difference of $2.50 will be the value prompted for a donation.
• Message - Displays/Enter the message that will comprise the prompt that Clerks/Staff and patrons will see when prompted for a donation. Use the {donation} variable in the message to display the value of the donation. For example, a message entered as .Would you like to round the sale up to the nearest $5 for a donation of {donation} to RSPCA, will display as Would you like to round the sale up to the nearest $5 for a donation of $2.50 to RSPCA.
• Display on CFD - Select to ensure the Donation prompt is displayed on the Customer Facing Display (CFD).

Used configure for the prompting for donations, based on a selected rounding option, to be displayed in Touch and if configured on the Customer Facing Display (CFD). Refer HERE for more information.
