This outlines How To Configure And Generate Receipt QR Codes in TouchMini.

How To Configure? ▲ ▼
In the Receipt tab (Refer HERE for more information), do as follows:
- Ensure the following are selected:
- The QR-code enabled Receipt option.
- The Customise receipt header/footer option.
- Ensure the Receipt header/footer information is configured appropriately so that when applicable Receipts are not returned by the Master Order Touch terminal, they will instead be generated in Venue Manager using the information configured HERE.
How To Generate? ▲ ▼
In TouchMini:
- Select Items/Products and add them to an Order.
- Select the Checkout option to view the Order.
- Finalise the Order.
- A QR code icon will appear in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.

Be aware, it may take a little while for the QR code icon to appear. Allow for +/- 20 seconds to elapse.
- Select it to display the QR code and present it the patron so they can scan it and retrieve their receipt.

The inverted appearance is by design. This is to enable staff to present the QR code for patrons to scan, without having to turn the TouchMini device around.

What To Consider? ▲ ▼
- A QR code for a Receipt will not be able to be generated if the TouchMini device is not connected to the network. That is, it is disconnected, or the network is down.
- TouchMini will only generate an offline QR code if:
- The QR-code enabled Receipt option is selected, AND
- The Customise receipt header/footer option is selected and the Receipt header/footer information is configured appropriately.
- AND then when:
- POS API is down, OR
- The Gateway Client service is not running, OR
- The Master Order terminal (MOT) is not operational, OR
- The Return Receipt Text and Return Receipt Image options are not selected.
