How To Create An Event Area? ▲ ▼
An Event Area can be created using the Back Office Event Areas menu option. To do this:
- In the Events Areas screen:
- Select the New Area button to add a row to the grid.
- Give the new Area an appropriate name. For example, Corporate Box East 18.
- Select the Location button to open the Change Location for Area ‘XXXXXXXX’ screen to select the Location to which the new Area will be associated with.
- If an Account is to be associated with the new Area being created, then select the Account button to open the Change for Area: ‘XXXXXXXX’ screen to select the Account to which the new Area will be associated with.
- Select from the Status drop down list the initial status of the new Area. This would normally be set to Available.
- Select from the Type drop down list the Area Type of the new Area. Refer to How To Manage Area Types for more information.
- Select Save to save the new Event Type.
- In the Default Locations section of the Event Types screen:
- Enter the Add button to open the Add Location to Event Type ‘XXXXXXXX’ screen to select one or more Locations.
- Once selected, select the Choose Selected button to select an exit the screen.
- The selected Locations will now appear in the grid of the Default Locations section.
- Select Save to save the changes.
How To Delete An Event Area? ▲ ▼
An Event Area can be edited using the Back Office Event Areas menu option. To do this:
- In the Events Areas screen:
- Select the Area in the grid to be deleted.
- Select the Delete Area button.
- A prompt will be displayed requesting confirmation to continue. Select the appropriate response.
- If Yes was selected in response to the prompt, select Save to save the changes.
- The deleted Area will no longer appear in the grid.
How To Edit An Event Area? ▲ ▼
An Event Area can be deleted using the Back Office Event Areas menu option. To do this:
- In the Events Areas screen:
- Select the Area in the grid to be edited:
- Do as follows for the columns that contain a:
- Button - For example, Location and Account:
- Select the button to open the relevant screen and edit as required.
- Select Save to save the changes.
- Drop Down List – For example, Status and Type:
- Select from the drop down list the option required.
- Select Save to save the changes.
- Value – For example, Area and Capacity:
- Select the required cell multiple times until such time that the value is editable.
- Edit the value in the selected cell as required.
- Tab out of the cell.
- Select Save to save the changes.
- Button - For example, Location and Account:
- Do as follows for the columns that contain a:
- Select the Area in the grid to be edited:
How To Lock A TouchMini Terminal To An Event Area? ▲ ▼
It is possible to lock one or more of the following to one or more Areas:
