Apply A Sale Type To A Sale
This outlines How To Apply A Sale Type To A Sale using the Sale Type (#960) POS Key in Touch.

When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
An Order/Sale can be associated with a specific Sale Type in Touch when there is a requirement to ensure a different Tax rate applies to the whole Order/Sale. Refer to the Sales Types feature for more information.
How To Apply A Sale Type To A Sale? ▲ ▼
Do as follows:
- Select the Sale Type (#960) POS Key.
- Add multiple Items/Products to an Order/Sale.
- Complete/Finalise the Order/Sale.
- The Tax rate associated with the selected Sale Type should now be applied to all the Items/Products in the Order/Sale.
Notes...
The Sale Type selected that is associated with the Sale Type (#960) POS Key selected, will only apply to the current Order/Sale. It will need to be reselected each time a new Order/Sale is commenced and there is a requirement to select a Sale Type.
