Clock In / Out Review


Accessed by selecting the Preview Time Clock Data (#145) POS Key, and is used to preview Shift/Time Clock entries in Touch. Shift entries displayed can be edited until such time as they are committed. After that shift entries can only be edited via the Clerk Time Clock screen in the Back Office.

Filters      

The filters at the top of the screen can be used to limit the number of rows displayed in the grid. The filters include the following types:

  • Date Range From/To - The filter fields of this type are: Date Range, Shift Start/End.
  • Check Boxes - The filter fields of this type are: Incomplete shifts only.
  • Drop Down Lists - The filter fields of this type are: Clerk and Location.


Grid      

Displays a list of Shift/Time Clock entries along with their Clerk ID, Name, Location, Clock On/Off, Break Start/End, Hours Worked, Wage and Role.

Noteworthy      
  • Wage - Displays the Shift cost in wages as calculated based on the Clerk/Staff Member's pay rate and the shift hours they worked. If a Clerk/Staff Member has not clocked out, then the hours worked will be calculated up to the current time that this screen was opened.

The Wage column can be hidden from being displayed by ensuring the Hide Wage option is selected in the settings of the Preview Time Clock Data (#145) POS Key.


Footer      

  • New - Select to add a Shift. This would normally done using the Clock In/Out operation.
  • Edit - Select to edit the selected row.
  • Save - Select to save changes.
  • Undo - Select to undo changes made.
  • Delete - Delete the selected Clerk/Staff Member Shift entry. This removes the entire shift entry for that Clerk/Staff Member.
  • Allow Committing of Incomplete Shifts - Select to allow.

Notes...



If incomplete shift entries are committed in Touch, they will have to be manually edited in the Back Office via the Clerk Time Clock screen, as they will no longer be available in Touch once they are committed.

  • Commit - Select to commit the Clerk/Staff Member Shift entries to Back Office. If a shift has not been completed correctly, then you will get a warning that it is an incomplete shift and would have to be completed manually in Back Office at a later stage.
  • Close - Select to exit.
