Product Information
Back Office - Screens
To access, select the Information option (down the left-hand side) in the Product Full Edit screen. Used to view and manage Product Allergens, Ingredients, Notes and Nutrition information. The Product information recorded here can then be displayed in swiftpos in various ways. In Touch it is viewed using the Show PLU Notes (#535) POS Key. Refer HERE for more information.

Tabs Section ▲ ▼
Used to access and declare Allergens associated to a Product. Refer HERE for more information.
Notes ...
Access to edit/view Allergens can be configured via Clerk Security Groups under Products.
Allergens Tab Footer Section
- Delete - Select to delete the selected Allergen.
- Multi Language - Select to enter the name of the selected Allergen in an alternate language.
Used to access and manage Ingredient information related to a food Product. Refer to How To Manage Ingredients for more information.
Ingredients Tab Footer Section
- Delete - Select to delete all Ingredients information.
- Multi Language - Select to enter the name of the selected Ingredient in an alternate language.
Used to access and edit Product notes.
Notes Tab Footer Section
- Delete - Select to delete all Notes information.
- Multi Language - Select to enter the Notes in an alternate language.
Nutrients Tab ▲ ▼
Used to access and manage Nutrients pertaining to a food Product. Nutrients that are enabled will be used to print on Product Labels using the [Nutrients] database field item. Refer HERE and HERE for more information.

Access to edit/view Nutrients can be configured via Clerk Security Groups under Products.
Nutrients Tab Grid Section
- Enable - Select to ensure a Nutrient is enabled and therefore will display/print as part of the Product's Nutritional information.
- Name - Displays the name of the Nutrient.
- Value - Enter the required value for the Nutrients contained within the selected Product. For example. 228 for the Calories (cal) nutrient.
- Value per 100 - Enter the value of the Nutrients contained in 100 UOM serve (for example, 100g or 100ml serve) of the Product. For example, 113 for the Calories (cal) nutrient contained in a 100g serve.
Nutrients Tab Footer Section
- Delete - Select to delete all Nutrient information.
- Multi Language - Select to enter the name of the selected Nutrient in an alternate language.
Product Information Screen Footer Section ▲ ▼
- Delete - Select to delete the Notes.
- Save - Select to save changes.
- Save and Close - Select to save any changes and exit.
