Products

Information

The Information button is used to access the Product Information screen, from which Allergens, Notes and Nutrition information relating to a Product can be viewed and managed.

When required Allergens, Notes and Nutrition information can be recorded against Products and then be made available at:

  1. Touch terminals via:
  2. Kitchen Video System via:
  3. Menu Boards using the StockNotes, NutritionName, NutritionValue and Allergens Product Data options.

Product Information Screen      


Accessed by selecting the Information button in the Product Full Edit screen, this screen is used to provide additional information relating to a Product. The Product information recorded here can be displayed in Touch using the Show PLU Notes POS Key. The Product information can be accessed and managed via the following tabs:

Footer      
  • Delete - Select to delete the Notes.
  • Save - Select to save changes.
  • Save and Close - Select to save any changes and exit.


Notes Tab

Footer      
  • Delete - Select to delete all Notes.
  • Multi Language - Select to enter the Notes in an alternate language.
  • Close - Select to exit.


Ingredients Tab      


Accessed from HERE.

Used to access and manage Ingredient information related to a food Product. Refer to How To Manage Ingredients for more information.

Footer      
  • Delete - Select to delete all Ingredient information.
  • Multi Language - Select to enter the name of the selected Ingredient in an alternate language.
  • Close - Select to exit.


Allergens Tab      


Accessed from HERE.

Used to access and manage Allergens pertaining to a food Product. Allergens that appear highlighted are considered Declared. Refer to How To Declare/Undeclare Product Allergens for more information.

A ccess to view/edit Allergens can be configured via Clerk Security Groups under Products.

  • Delete - Select to delete all Ingredient information.
  • Multi Language - Select to enter the name of the selected Allergen in an alternate language.

Nutrients Tab      


Accessed from HERE.

Used to access and manage Nutrients pertaining to a food Product. Nutrients that are enabled will be used to print on Product Labels using the [Nutrients] database field item. Refer to How To Manage Nutrients and How To Configure Ingredients/Nutrients On Product Labels for more information.

A ccess to view/edit Nutrients can be configured via Clerk Security Groups under Products.

Grid      
  • Enable - Select to ensure a Nutrient is enabled and therefore will display/print as part of the Product's Nutritional informaton.
  • Name - Displays the name of the Nutrient.
  • Value - Enter the required value for the Nutrients contained within the selected Product. For example. 228 for the Calories (cal) nutrient.
  • Value per 100 - Enter the value of the Nutrients contained in 100 UOM serve (for example, 100g or 100ml serve) of the Product. For example, 113 for the Calories (cal) nutrient contained in a 100g serve.

Footer      
  • Delete - Select to delete all Nutrient information.
  • Multi Language - Select to enter the name of the selected Nutrient in an alternate language.
  • Close - Select to exit.
