Touch - How To

This outlines How To Pay/Top-up An Account using either the Account Payment (#200) or the Payment / Top-Up (#152) POS Key in Touch.

 

How To?      

Customer/Member accounts can be paid/topped up in Touch, by either making a:

 

Live Payment/Top-up     

In Touch, do as follows:

This option does require the NetPOS service to be running.

 

  • Add a Customer/Member to the sales grid.
  • Select the Payment / Top-Up (#152) POS Key to open the Live Payments screen.
  • Select an account from the list of accounts listed.
  • Select the Keyboard option opposite the selected account.
  • Enter the amount to be paid/topped-up.
  • Select OK to process the payment.
  • The amount entered will be added to the sales grid.
  • Complete the sale.
  • The Customer's/Member's account balance will be updated immediately.

 

Non-live Payment/Top-up     

In Touch, do as follows:

  • Add a Customer/Member to the sales grid.
  • Select the Account Payment (#200) POS Key to open the Live Payments screen.
  • Select an account from the list of accounts listed.
  • Select the Keyboard option opposite the selected account.
  • Enter the amount to be paid/topped-up.
  • Select OK to process the payment.
  • The amount entered will be added to the sales grid.
  • Complete the sale.
  • The Customer's/Member's account balance will be updated when the transaction is processed in Back Office.
