This outlines How To Configure TAB POS Keys using the Table (#30) POS Key, in Touch.

When selecting the Table (#30) POS Key in Touch, depending on it's configuration (as configured in Back Office) it can provide different responses. Refer to the following, to discover how to configure the Table (#30) POS Key as a TAB POS Key to:
- Open A New TAB By Entering The TAB Number?
- Open A New TAB Using The Next Available TAB Number?
- Search For A TAB?
Open A New TAB By Entering The TAB Number? ▲ ▼

In Back Office configure the Table (#30) POS Key as follows:

Caption it with text New TAB.

Ensure the following option(s) are selected:

Notes ...
If the Display TAB's First option is NOT SELECTED, then the POS Key will no longer be configured for a TAB. Instead, it will be considered a Table POS Key.
- In Touch,
- Enter the number of the TAB to be opened.
- Select the captioned New TAB POS Key.
- The TAB's number will appear in the sales grid. For example:

- In Touch,
- When the captioned Search TABs POS Key is selected in Touch, the Open Tables for All Clerks screen will be displayed listing all the TABs that are currently still open. That is, those that have not been finalised.
