How To Alert A Customer From Touch? ▲ ▼
In Touch, do as follows:- When the Customer's order is ready, add the Customer to the order/sale.
- Select the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key.
- Depending on how the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key is configured, at the prompt enter either the required mobile phone number, email address or pager number.
- Enter an appropriate message when prompted.
- Select OK.
- The alert will be sent.
OR
- When the order is ready, select the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key.
- Depending on how the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key is configured, at the prompt enter either the required mobile phone number, email address or pager number.
- Enter an appropriate message when prompted.
- Select OK.
- The alert will be sent.
How To Alert A Customer From KVS? ▲ ▼
In Touch, do as follows:
- Add a Customer/Member to the sales grid.
- Add the items/products to the order.
- Select the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key.
- Depending on how the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key is configured, at the prompt enter either the required mobile phone number, email address or pager number.
- Enter an appropriate message when prompted.
- Select OK.
- The alert will be NOT be sent.
- Finalise the order. The order will be sent to KVS.
- When the order is ready, bump the order in KVS.
- The alert will be sent.
