How To Alert A Customer From Touch?      

In Touch, do as follows:
  • When the Customer's order is ready, add the Customer to the order/sale.
  • Select the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key.
  • Depending on how the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key is configured, at the prompt enter either the required mobile phone number, email address or pager number.
  • Enter an appropriate message when prompted.
  • Select OK.
  • The alert will be sent.

OR

  • When the order is ready, select the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key.
  • Depending on how the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key is configured, at the prompt enter either the required mobile phone number, email address or pager number.
  • Enter an appropriate message when prompted.
  • Select OK.
  • The alert will be sent.

 

 

How To Alert A Customer From KVS?      

In Touch, do as follows:

  • Add a Customer/Member to the sales grid.
  • Add the items/products to the order.
  • Select the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key.
  • Depending on how the Customer Alert (#580) POS Key is configured, at the prompt enter either the required mobile phone number, email address or pager number.
  • Enter an appropriate message when prompted.
  • Select OK.
  • The alert will be NOT be sent.
  • Finalise the order. The order will be sent to KVS.
  • When the order is ready, bump the order in KVS.
  • The alert will be sent.
