Touch - POS Keys

This provides an overview of the Review Transactions (#10) POS Key.

What Are The Limitations? ▲ ▼
- Only up to 7 days worth of Transactions can be reviewed.
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- Ensure this POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Designer. Refer to How To Add A POS Key To A Keyboard Layout for more information.
What To Consider? ▲ ▼
- If required, access to this POS Key can be restricted by the Clerk Security feature.
- When a Transaction is viewed by selecting the view button opposite the selected Transaction in the Transactions screen, an attempt will be made to respect the logged in Clerk's/Staff Member's Language setting in the first instance, before defaulting to the Window's region of the Touch terminal.
- If Language files ARE INSTALLED and:
- The logged in Clerk's/Staff Member's Language is set to Default, it’ll show the Transaction's receipt in the language as per the Window's region setting of the Touch terminal.
- The logged in Clerk's/Staff Member's Language is set to a specific language, it’ll show the Transaction's receipt in the Clerk's/Staff Member's language.
- If Language files are NOT INSTALLED:
- The logged in Clerk's/Staff Member's Language is set to Default, it’ll show the Transaction's receipt in English.
- The logged in Clerk's/Staff Member's Language is set to a specific language Default, it’ll show the Transaction's receipt in English.
- If Language files ARE INSTALLED and:

Used by Touch operators to review up to 7 days' worth of transactions in Touch and also, if necessary, reprint anyone of them.

- Review About and ensure the steps outlined HERE are addressed.
- In Keyboard Designer, ensure the Review Transactions (#10) POS Key is added to a Layout.
- Ensure it is given an appropriate Caption. For example, Review Transactions.
- Once configured, ensure a Full Update is sent to all the Touch terminals that will be using the POS Key. Refer HERE for more information.
