Floor Plan Designer (#401) POS Key

This provides an overview of the Floor Plan Designer (#401) POS Key in Touch.

What Is It Used For? ▲ ▼
This POS Key is used to access the Floor Plan Designer feature that is available in Back Office, also from Touch.
To Be Considered ▲ ▼
- If required, access to this POS Key can be restricted by the Clerk Security feature.
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- Ensure this POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Designer. Refer to How To Add A POS Key To A Keyboard Layout for more information.
How Is It Used? ▲ ▼
To access the Floor Plan Designer feature from Touch, do as follows:
- Select the Floor Plan Designer (#401) POS Key.
- Once selected the Connect to Server screen will be displayed to establish a connection to the Table Tracking SQL Server.
- Ensure the Table Tracking connection details are correct.
- Select the Connect button to establish a connection.
- Once connected, the Floor Plans screen will be displayed.
- Select the Open option from the Floor Plans menu and select a Floor Plan from the Floor Plans search screen.
Notes...
If no Floor Plans are listed in the Floor Plans search screen, then it is more than likely that a Floor Plan has NOT been assigned to the same Location as that of the Touch terminal . This will need to be done in Back Office first, and a Full Update sent to Touch.
- Select the Open option from the Layouts menu and select a Layout from the Layout search screen.
- Once selected, the Layout will be displayed in the Floor Plans screen.
