When Clerk Security is configured for this POS Key such that authorisation is required to credit an item, the authorising Clerk/Staff Member will now be added to the sale as a comment to ensure authorised credits can be easily searched in the Search Transaction screen by entering the text 'Authorised by Clerk' in the string field when searching.
- If required, Touch operators can be forced to provide reasons for the crediting an item/product. Refer HERE for more information.
When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
Used to credit the next item/product added to the sales grid and if necessary, enforce the selection of a reason. To clear items/products from the sales grid, refer HERE.
This POS Key is primarily used to credit items, in order to correct a sale and put the item back into stock.

- Review About and ensure the steps outlined HERE are addressed.
- In Keyboard Designer, ensure the Preview Time Clock Data (#145) POS Key is added to a Layout.
- Ensure it is given an appropriate Caption. For example, Preview Time Clock Data.
- Select the More Settings option to display the Settings screen and configure the POS Key as required.
- Once configured, ensure a Full Update is sent to all the Touch terminals that will be using the POS Key. Refer HERE for more information.
