About

What Is Required?

  • Swiftpos v10+
  • Ensure this POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Designer. Refer HERE for more information.

What To Consider?

  • If required, access to this POS Key can be restricted by the Clerk Security feature.
  • The amount charged to the Customer/Member's Account will only decrease the Account balance when the sales is processed in the Back Office, that is, when the connection to the Back Office is re-established. Refer HERE real time updating of Account balances.
  • Consider the Auto Allocate POS A/C Payment option in Global Preferences when taking payments on Accounts.
  • To keep TABs or Tables open for more than one trading day, we would recommend using Accounts rather than TABs or Tables. This way, all the sales are accounted for, and the stock on hand is updated in the Back Office.  Refer HERE to print an account summary at the POS.

When Is It Used?
