Swiftpos - What To Consider
This provides Venues with information relating to changes made in Swiftpos v10.80+ with regards to Item/Product Price Validation.
From Swiftpos v10.80+ onwards, updates to item/product prices will now prevent invalid negative item/product prices from being saved. Price values must be:

$0.00 or greater; or
-
Exactly -$0.01 where the item/product is intended to be considered an Open Price item/product.
Any other negative item/product will be handled as an invalid price. The validation applies to applicable item/product Price Levels.

Where an invalid item/product price is encountered, the import result identifies the affected Product/PLU, Price Level and invalid Price as applicable
Item/Product price validation changes will affect the following Back Office features:
- Product Full Edit
- Product Quick Edit
- SQL insertion
- Import Price Changes (CSV)
