Configure A POS Key (Work in Progress)

Back Office - How To

This outlines how to configure a POS Key in Back Office.

In Back Office, do as follows:

Select the Keyboards option in the Touch Settings menu, to open the Keyboards screen.
Select the Keyboards menu in the Toolbar.
Select the Open Keyboard option in the footer section, to open the Touch Keyboards screen.
Select the Keyboard for which the POS Key is to be configured.
Using the Left/Right arrows or the Layout drop-down list in the Layout section, navigate to and select the Layout for which the POS Key is to be configured.
Once the Layout is displayed, locate and select the POS Key which is to be configured.
Once selected a POS Key can be configured in one of the following ways:
- By right clicking the POS Key - Right click the POS Key to display the Settings menu and select one of the enabled options displayed. Refer to Settings for more information.
- Using Button Properties (to the right of the Layout) - This option provides more configurable options. Refer to Appearance, Settings and Special Functions for more information.
- Adding an Image to a POS Key - Refer HERE for more information.
Save the changes.
Send a Full Update to the Touch terminals requiring the configured POS Key.
