Add A New Customer / Member

This outlines the How To Add A New Customer / Member in Touch.
How To Add A New Customer / Member? ▲ ▼
Do as follows:
- In Back Office:
- Ensure the New Customer (#68) POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Designer. Refer HERE for more information.
- Ensure the New Customer (#68) POS Key is configured as is appropriate for the Venue.
- Ensure a Full Update is sent to the required Touch terminals that will be making use of the POS Key. Refer HERE for more information.
- Ensure the New Customer (#68) POS Key is added to the appropriate Keyboard Layout using the Designer. Refer HERE for more information.
- In Touch:
- Apply the update. Refer HERE for more information.
- Select the New Customer (#68) POS Key to open the New Customer screen.
- Enter the details obtained from the Customer/Member into the fields provided, as is appropriate.
- Configure any other remaining details that is appropriate for the Customer/Member. For example:
- Account Limit
- Allergens
- Alternate ID
- Classification
- Contact Lists (Email, Mailing, SMS)
- ID
- Linked Classifications
- Linked Interest Groups
- Notes
- Photo
- PIN
- Select the Check Member ID option to validate that the Member ID displayed is available to be used.
- Confirm with the Customer/Member that the details entered are correct and accurate.
- Select the Done option to add the new Customer/Member to Swiftpos Back Office.
- In Back Office:
- Navigate to the Member Records screen and
- Locate and select the new Customer/Member added above.
- Confirm the details are correct and accurate. Refer HERE for more information.
