      This provides an overview of Discounts in Touchmini.

      What Is It?      ▲ ▼

      Discounts are an existing feature in Swiftpos, and are configured in Back Office HERE, and applied in Touchmini when they are Web Enabled.

       

      What Is Required?      ▲ ▼

      • Swiftpos v10.77+
      • Touchmini operators must have sufficient authorisation in order to be able to apply a Discount. That is, the Clerk Security Group they are associated with, must have access to the following in the Clerk Group Permissions section of the Security Group Full Edit screen:
        • TouchMini Settings > Manual Discount.
      • If any pre-defined Discounts are required, they will need to be configured in Back Office. Refer HERE for more information.

      • Discounts are applied in Touchmini the same way they are applied in Touch. Refer HERE for more information.

       

      When Is It Used?      ▲ ▼

      Used when a Venue wants to offer it's patrons discounts for Items/Products ordered/purchased when using Touchmini.
