What Is Required?      

 

When Is It Used?      

Used to alert Clerks/Staff when a certain Product is no longer available and hence cannot be ordered. For example, when the Smoked Salmon Slice (Entree) is limited to 35 serves, then the text 35 serves will display opposite the Item/Product in Touchmini. Once set, the quantity displayed will be decremented each time a serving of Smoked Salmon Slice is ordered.

 


How To?      

 

How To Configure For Available Serves?      

In:

 

Touch      

Do as follows:

  • Ensure the quantity of Available Servings has been configured against each of the Items/Products for which Available Serves is to be tracked. Refer HERE for more information.
  • Once selected, then ensure the Available Serves option is selected.

 

Touchmini      

Do as follows:

  • In the POS tab ensure the Quantity Checks option is selected.
  • Once selected, then ensure the Available Serves option is selected.
  • Save the changes.

 

How They Appear In Touchmini?      

Once configured the quantity of Available Serves will display against each of the Items/Products for which Available Servings are set. For example:

Whenever, an Item/Product is ordered and the Order is submitted, the quantity of Available Serves will be decremented by the quantity ordered and will be displayed anew. This may take a while, as the Order will need to be sent to Touch and processed before the quantity is adjusted appropriately.

 

Notes ...

 

When the quantity of Available Serves reaches a value of zero, the Item/Product will no longer be able to be ordered and will appear greyed out.
