What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- Ensure a Special/Promotion has been configured in Back Office. Refer HERE for more information.
- For Special/Promotion pricing to automatically be activated and then deactivated at the configured Start/End dates in Touch, the Service Monitor service will need to be running.
When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
Specials/Promotions are mainly used by Venues to offer patrons discounts on Items/Products that are being promoted for a limited time period.

How To Apply A Special/Promotion? ▲ ▼
Specials/Promotions are automatically applied in Touchmini when an Item/Product that is included in a active Special/Promotion, is added to an Order/Sale. An Item/Product's price will be prefixed with the PP to indicate the price is a promotional price.
