      Used to download and update versions of swiftpos product software.

      • Full File Updates – Always downloads debug symbols and performs a complete update of all files.
      • No Local Backup – Older versions are accessible via the updater, removing the need for local backups.

      To access, select the Supported Languages option in the swiftpos Updater screen. Used to select one or more languages that are required to be supported.

      To access, download and install from HERE, and then open the SwiftposUpdater.exe file. Used to download and update swiftpos product software.

       

      Header Section

      • Select Version - Select from the drop-down list the version required. Refer HERE for more information.
      • Release Notes - Select to view the most recent release information regarding swiftpos.
      • Supported Languages - Select to open the Language Support screen to select one or more languages required to be supported.

       

      Grid Section

      Lists the swiftpos products (for example, Back Office, Touch, Kitchen Video and Menu Board) currently available, along with their:

      • Current Installed Version - Displays the currently installed version of the software.
      • Current Downloaded Version - The last version downloaded.
      • MSI Download Available - Displays if there is a MSI file available for downloading.

       

      Footer Section

      • Download Folder - Displays/Select the folder into which the downloaded files will be placed.
      • Download Selected - Select to ONLY download the install files for the selected products into the folder selected above.
      • Update from Download - Select to ONLY update the software using the download files in the Download Folder.
      • Refresh - Select to refresh and retrieve the latest Current Installed Version & Current Downloaded Version information.
      • Update Selected - Select to Download and Update the software for the selected Products.

       

      While downloading/updating, the progress of the operation will be displayed, and a Cancel option will be enabled to allow for the cancellation of the operation. Also, the updater will now always download Debug Symbols and will also force a full update of all files. There is also No Local Backup anymore, as you can select a different version in the updater if you need to go back.
