Mix & Match
Swiftpos - Features
This provides a quick summary and overview of the Mix & Match feature.
Subjects ▲ ▼
What Is It? ▲ ▼
Mix & Match in SwiftPOS allows venues to automatically apply promotional
pricing, bundle offers, or discounts when specific product combinations or
quantities are sold. These rules are configured in Back Office > Mix & Match and
sync to the POS terminals, enabling staff to process promotions without manual
intervention.
Mix & Match deals are commonly used for multi-buy offers, combos, and
loyalty-style promotions such as "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" or "Buy any 3 for $10".
Rules can be tailored to product families, departments, or categories, offering
flexible control over how discounts are triggered and applied.
Example Scenarios ▲ ▼
- Volume Discount – Buy 10 beers, get 10% off.
- Buy X & Get X – Buy 2 cocktails, get 1 free.
- Buy X & Get Y – Buy 3 pizzas, get a garlic bread free.
- Buy X Money & Get Y – Spend $50 on food, get $5 off drinks.
- Buy X & Y for Z – Buy a burger and chips for $15.
- Buy A, B & C for Z – Buy a burger, fries, and drink combo for $20.
- Max Allowed X – Limit sales of raffle tickets to 50 per customer.
