Products Search

Accessed from the Search button in the Toolbar.

Used to search for Products to add to an Order/Sale.

Initially when the screen is displayed, the grid does not display any Items/Products. To display Items/Products enter a blank or the full/partial text of Item's/Product's Description into the Search field and select the Done button.

• Search - Enter the full/partial text of a Item's/Product's Description to search for Items/Products that have the text entered in their Description. For example, to search for all the Items/Products with word Coke in their description, enter the text Coke and select enter.
  Alternatively, use can be made of a wildcard character. The wildcard for searching is the % symbol. For example, to search for 24 and pk in the Description of a Item/Product, enter the text 24%pk and select enter. This will return all Items/Products with 24 and pk in their Description.

The grid displays a list of Items/Products that are available to Order/Sell along with their PLU, Description and Price.

Keyboard      ▲ ▼

The Touch Keyboard displayed allows Clerks/Staff to enter a full/partial text into the Search filter above to locate and select an Item/Product.

Buttons      ▲ ▼

• Page Up/Down - Select to navigate page by page up/down through the Items/Products listed in the grid.
• Up/Down Arrow - Select to navigate row by row up/down through the Items/Products listed in the grid.
• Show/Hide - Toggle select to show/hide the Touch keyboard.
