This outlines How To Configure And Redeem Gift Cards / Vouchers in Orderaway.

What Is Not Supported? ▲ ▼
- Issuing Gift Cards/Vouchers.
- Redemptions Triggers (Member Required, PIN required, multi-voucher redemption, reprint stored value voucher, suppress voucher return prompt, description).
- The Items Not On Promotion option is NOT supported for Stored Value Vouchers.
- 3rd Party Gift Card/Voucher providers such as Blackhawk, Vii, Zen Global, etc.
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- Swiftpos v10.74.7+
- The Enable V3 UI option must be selected.
- Orderaway must be configured and operating, and a Venue's Location must be activated with the Submit orders directly to POS Terminal option selected. Refer HERE for more information.
- The Gift Cards/Stored Value Vouchers will need to be created and issued in Back Office and still be valid and active.
What Is Supported? ▲ ▼
- Discounts added as an assigned Action to the Voucher.
- Stored Value Vouchers - The Items Not On Promotion option is NOT supported.

When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
When a Venue wants to offer patrons the option of redeeming Gift Cards/Vouchers when paying for an Order/Sale while using Orderaway.

How To Configure For Gift Cards / Vouchers? ▲ ▼
In Orderaway:
- Access the Profile's Payment tab. Refer to HERE for more information.
- Ensure the Enable Voucher Redemption option is selected.
- Save the changes.
How To Redeem Gift Cards/Vouchers in Orderaway? ▲ ▼
Once Orderaway has been enabled for Voucher redemptions, patrons will be presented with an Add Voucher option when proceeding to Checkout. A Gift Card/Stored Value Voucher can be redeemed by either scanning a QR code or entering the Voucher number manually. When redeeming a Voucher the following scenarios are possible:
- The Order/Sale Value Is Less Than Or Equal To The Voucher's Remaining Balance
- The Order/Sale Value Is Greater Than The Voucher's Remaining Balance
The Order / Sale Value Is Less Than The Voucher's Balance ▲ ▼
- When in the Checkout screen, select the Add Voucher option.
- The patron will be prompted to scan a QR Code or enter a Voucher number.
- The remaining balance of the Voucher will be reduced by the value of the Sale.
The Order / Sale Value Is Greater Than The Voucher'S Balance ▲ ▼
- When in the Checkout screen, select the Add Voucher option.
- The patron will be prompted to scan a QR Code or enter a Voucher number.
- Once redeemed, the patron will be required to pay the remaining value.
Notes ...
If the Voucher entered/scanned has a $0.00 remaining balance, then the patron will be presented with a prompt simliar to the one below.
- The remaining balance of the Voucher will be zero, and the Voucher will NOT be able to be used again.
