How To Add A New Customer / Member? ▲ ▼
In Touch, do as follows:- Select the New Customer (#68) POS Key to open the New Customer screen.
- Enter the details obtained from the Customer/Member into the fields provided, as is appropriate.
- Configure any other remaining details that is appropriate for the Customer/Member. For example:
- Account Limit
- Allergens
- Alternate ID
- Classification
- Contact Lists (Email, Mailing, SMS)
- ID
- Linked Classifications
- Linked Interest Groups
- Notes
- Photo
- PIN
- Select the Check Member ID option to validate that the Member ID displayed is available to be used.
- Confirm with the Customer/Member that the details entered are correct and accurate.
- Select the Done option to add the new Customer/Member to Swiftpos Back Office.
- In Back Office, navigate to the Member Records screen and locate and select the new Customer/Member added above. Confirm the details are correct and accurate. Refer HERE for more information.
- To retrieve the new Customer/Member in Touch and add them to an Order/Sale refer HERE for more information.
