Enter A Price
This outlines how to Enter a Price for an Open/Manually Priced Item in a Sale in Touch.

What Is It Used For? ▲ ▼
Most commonly used to sell Open Priced or Manually priced items.
For example, the Special of the Day may need to be configured as Open Priced, so that each day a different price can be entered manually when it is sold, to cater for the different Specials on offer.
Also, when there is a need to have a Sundry or Miscellaneous Item that has an Open Price. That means that when that Item is sold, Clerks/Staff Members enter the price manually in Touch.
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
Ensure the Set as Open Price option is selected against the required Price Level for the specifically created Open Priced Item (Product). Now, when that Item is sold in Touch, the entry of a price will be prompted.
How To Enter A Price ▲ ▼
- Using Touch, sell the Open Priced Item, specifically created.
- When prompted enter the Price the Item is to be sold at.
- Finalise the sale.
How To Sell More Than One Open Priced Item ▲ ▼
- Using Touch, sell the Open Priced Item, specifically created.
- When prompted enter the Price the Item is to be sold at.
- Now select either the +/- buttons at the bottom of the sales grid to increase/decrease the quantity of the Item as required.
- Finalise the sale.
