Assign Locations To A Keyboard?
Back Office - How To?
This outlines the How To Assign Locations To A Keyboard.
Subjects? ▲ ▼
About ▲ ▼
What Is Required? ▲ ▼
- A Keyboard must already exist.
When Is It Used? ▲ ▼
Used when a Keyboard needs to be assigned to individual Locations or all Locations. Once a Location is selected, then the Keyboard can be assigned to a Touch terminal in the same Location.
- Copied - Copying a Keyboard generates a duplicate of the Keyboard without including its Layouts. This is particularly beneficial when a unique HOME Layout is required to be assigned to the Bar and Restaurant separately. It also simplifies ongoing maintenance by reducing the number of Keyboards that need to be updated that have the same Products.
- Cloned - Cloning a Keyboard generates an exact replica of a Keyboard along with all of its Layouts. This is particularly helpful when an entirely new Keyboard needs to be created. For example, when preparing to replace an existing one or when setting up a new Restaurant menu. At the time of changeover, ensure the old Keyboard is deleted to avoid any confusion in the Venue.
