Clerk Security Group Permissions – Products

Allows access to the Products menu. Used to manage items/Products and their pricing in SwiftPOS.

 

Clerk Group Permissions For Products      ▲ ▼

• Product Records - Allows access to view/search through Products that exist within SwiftPOS for selling/stock purposes.

  • Delete Product - Allows access to delete a Product.
  • Create Product - Allows access to create a new Product.
    • Allow Full Edit - Allows access to access Product Full Edit screen when creating a new Product only.
  • Allow Full Edit - Allows access to open a Product Record to view all it's attributes.
  • Change Prices - Allows access to change the Sell Prices of the Product.

  • Change Report Group - Allows access to change the Reporting/Product Group the Product is assigned too.
  • Change Sell Category - Allows access to change the Product Sell Category the Product is assigned too.
  • Change Costs - Allows access to change the Purchase/Unit Cost Price of a Product.

• • Change Min Max Levels - Allows access to adjust the SOH Par Levels for Products in Locations.

  • Change Product Discontinued - Allows access to mark the product as "discontinued" so it doesn't come up when raising Purchase Orders for any Venues.
  • Add/Delete Barcodes - Allows access to view/add/edit/delete Barcodes linked to each Product.
  • Edit Recipes - Allows access to view/add/edit/delete Recipes between Products.

• Product Quick Edit - Allows access to view/search through Products that exist within SwiftPOS for selling/stock purposes, showing only certain attributes in an editing grid.
  • Change Product Code/PLU - Allows access to change the Product Code or PLU of existing Products.
  • Change Description/Long Description/POS Display - Allows access to change the Descriptions of existing Products.
  • Change Report Group - Allows access to change the Reporting/Product Group the Product is assigned too. 
  • Change Sell Category - Allows access to change the Product Sell Category the Product is assigned too.
  • Add Barcodes - Allows access to view/add/edit/delete Barcodes linked to each Product.

• Category/Group Setup - Allows access to view/edit the Master Group, Reporting Group, Categories & Print Groups configured within SwiftPOS which apply to all Venues.
  • Delete Groups/Families - Allows access to delete Master Groups, Reporting Groups or Print Groups (only possible when no Products are assigned to them).
  • Add/Edit Categories - Allows access to add/edit Master Groups, Reporting Groups, Categories or Print Groups.
  • Delete Categories - Allows access to delete Categories.

 

 

• Families - Allows access to view/add/edit Product Families which allows for custom grouping of Products, primarily used for things like Promotions and Post Links.
  • Assign Reporting Groups to Families - Allows access to the Family Mapping screen to assign Families to Product Groups.
  • Delete Family - Allows access to delete a Product Family from SwiftPOS.
  • Assign Family to Venues - Allows access to change what venues a Product Family is assigned too.  Only used when trying to hide Products from certain Venues completely.
• Price Changes Wizard - Allows access to manage scheduled price changes to a range of products.

 

• Cost Changes Wizard - Allows access to manage scheduled unit cost/purchase price changes to a range of products.

 

• Specials/Promotions - Allows access to view/add/edit/delete special pricing (by date range) for certain products & price levels.

 

• Product Labels - Allows access to generate Product/Shelf Labels for Products.
  • Edit Labels - Allows access to edit the existing Product/Shelf Label designs.
  • Create New Labels - Allows access to add new Product/Shelf Label designs.
  • Delete Labels - Allows access to delete Product/Shelf Label designs.
• Product Labels Wizard - Allows access to generate Product/Shelf Labels for Products in-bulk or based off recent Purchases.
• Happy Hour Setup-Up - Allows access to view/add/edit/delete special pricing (by date/time) for certain products & price levels.
